Our Beliefs

The fundamental truths that guide our faith and Christian practice

Bible and Cross

Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and reflect our commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that understanding what we believe is essential for growing in faith and living our Christian life.

Below is a summary of our core beliefs that shape our identity and mission as a church.

Core Beliefs

The essential doctrines of our faith

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible is God's Word, verbally inspired in its entirety, and without error in its original writings. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in essence, power, and glory, executing distinct but harmonious roles in redemption.

Matthew 28:19

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and personal visible return in power and glory.

John 1:1-3

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works, and that all who believe in Him are justified by His shed blood and born again by the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 2:8-9

The Church

We believe in the universal church as the body of Christ, with Christ as the head, composed of all true believers, and in the local church as an assembly of baptized believers.

Ephesians 1:22-23

The Ordinances

We believe baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper are the only ordinances of the church, testifying to our faith in Christ and commemorating His death until He comes.

Matthew 28:19-20

The Second Coming

We believe in the personal, imminent, and premillennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is the blessed hope of the church.

Acts 1:11

Last Things

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the final judgment, the eternal happiness of the redeemed, and the eternal punishment of the lost.

Revelation 20:11-15
